Richard Schuller
Richard (Rich) Schuller, joins Vance & Engles Aircraft Brokers, Inc., providing Business Jet Brokering services in the Southwest US in conjunction with other responsibilities in his own company.
In Business Aviation for over five decades with a strong technical background and progressive management experience in areas of business development, OEM aircraft/propulsion, aftermarket support and business operations, aircraft marketing & sales (Atlantic Aviation), aircraft fleet operations and maintenance-modification-completions (Beckett Aviation), his diverse knowledge and experience has been earned through managerial positions with Airesearch Manufacturing Company of Arizona/AlliedSignal, Factory Regional Manager, Manager of Factory Repair & Overhaul Administration, Manager of MSP Administration and Manager, Independent Facility Administration providing the leadership for the globalization of the Worldwide Authorized Service Center network in over 30 countries.
His vast experience prepared Rich for his next career challenge: Founder /Owner/ Executive Vice President of Alliance Engines, LLC. In this capacity, Rich joined Duncan Aviation and KC Aviation and became instrumental in building a state-of-the-art, start-up company into a profitable turbine engine overhaul operation then its sale in 1997, to BTR London/Standard Aero. He continues with his own company as President/CEO, Schuller Aerospace Services International, Ltd., an aviation advisory/consulting, company located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company provides business development assistance in Business Aviation. Rich has served as an expert witness, recruited and placed senior executives, purchased/sold turbine engines and brought aircraft buyers and sellers together. He assists investors with opportunities in the aftermarket FBO/MRO business. He was a founder and now serves on the board of directors of the Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA) as Chairman, Legislative Committee and a board member, Phoenix Air National Guard (PANG) Patriots, a civic association in support of the Arizona Air National Guard.
Rich is one of the originators of Aviation Day at the Capitol in Arizona. Rich is a Distinguished Alumnus of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics with a degree in Aerospace Technology and holds an FAA- A&P Technician rating along with other credentials. He is a member of AZBAA, AOPA, Arizona Airports Association (AZAA), EAA National, EAA Chapter 1217, NBAA and PANG Patriots. Rich was Arizona's FAA 2009 recipient of the prestigious FAA, "Charles Taylor" award.
